ummm that girl needs to calm down. just because you posted pictures from the movie doesn’t make you a “fake fan.” what does that even mean? posting pictures from a movie is celebrating it, not ruining it. the fact that you asked if you could post pictures was thoughtful and not selfish at all.

In all honesty many people posted DH gifs RIGHT after they saw it at midnight, so why are you the only one being snapped at for it? It’s been a good amount of time, you should be able to post them without anyone getting their panties in a bunch. Plus, some people won’t see the movie for another year or when it comes out on DvD, you’d be waiting forever to post gifs and there’s no reason to do that.

I run a Harry Potter tumblr as well and that person who just yelled at you for posting HPDH2 gifs, screw them. That movie has been out for a while and if THEY were a “true Harry Potter fan” then they would get of their computers and stop bitching on tumblr, and finally go see the movie themselves. At this point in time it is easily assumed that most people have seen this film. Especially if they love Harry Potter.

I don’t normally get involved, but I just saw the message you got and thought it was kind of funny they called you a fake fan because those GIFs wouldn’t really ruin anything for a real fan. A “real” fan would have read the book and would have already known what happens in the movie. I get that the movies are slightly different from the book and that some people don’t want the “experience” to be ruined, but that’s just my opinion.
